At the completion of this session, the learner will be able to:
1. Review the epidemiology, impact, and management of mental health conditions in children and adolescent populations;
2. Discuss assessment tools and evidence-based care for mental health conditions in children and adolescent populations
3. Identify interventions (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological) in the treatment of mental health conditions in children and adolescent populations;
4. Consider barriers to the access of mental health care for the child and adolescent population.
